Space Camp 2023

On Spring Break 2023 we will be going to Marshall US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama for Space Camp. 

During the program selected students will:

​

• Launch on missions to the International Space Station, the moon or Mars.

• Train like an astronaut on the 1/6th Gravity Chair and the Multi-Axis Trainer.

• Design, build and launch a team rocket.

• Learn team-building skills on the low elements at our Space Camp Challenge Course and in one of our water facilities.

• Put your creative thinking skills to work in our engineering design challenges.

• Hear the inspiring stories about commercial pioneers like Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX.

Student Criteria:

​

• Middle school student. (6th-8th)

• STEM Student with a 2.8 GPA.

• 12-14 years of age.

• Able to honor all program time commitments.

• Able to speak in public.

• VBA active student.

• Ability to swim/ S.C.U.B.A. experience.

• Can Travel to Huntsville with team for up to 6 days.
